weed control training

The 25th of January 2023, a dozen of our Traditional shallots and Roscoff onion growers gathered to exchange about the different means to control the expansion of the weeds at the level of the farm.

This meeting was led by 2 agronomic advisors including one specialized in the alliums growing.

Various subjects were raised :

  • Knowledge of the most challenging weeds
  • Identify the different ways to control these weeds
  • Determine the most effective ones at the level of the farm

This training took place in a mind of exchange and experience sharing with the goal to improve the agricultural practices and reduce the dependence on chemical inputs.
